Weches: Whose Track is That?

November 12, 2016 - 10:00am to 11:00am

Animals inhabit the forest day and night but often stay out of sight. This program helps you learn how to recognize the signs they leave behind. Join a park ranger on a hike to explore the forest for signs of animal activity including scat and tracks. We will meet at the head of the Nature trail next to the fishing pond. This is an overall easy hike that is less than ½ mile long and should take about an hour.
Meet: At the Nature Trail by the fishing pond
Bring: Drinking water, comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather.
All programs are free, there is a $2.00 park entry fee for all 13 years and older. We are located on Hwy 21 between Alto and Crockett, please call 936-687-2394 with any questions.
