San Augustine: Meet The Rockin' Artists On Main

October 9, 2020 (All day)

Everyone is invited to the pavilion on the square Friday, October 9, at 12 pm to celebrate our Rockin’ Artists. San Augustine Main Street has been aware of the artists in our area for some time, but these have taken on a different challenge. We will celebrate them and their artistic and creative backgrounds. Light refreshments will be served.

Eight artists volunteered to take rocking chairs of various backgrounds and completely restore with Texas themes of artistry and color. Each has a certificate of authentication attached. These rocking chairs are being displayed in eight businesses in the downtown Main Street area for the silent auction ending on December 1, 2020 when the winners will be announced. You can be the winner of one or more during this silent auction. Imagine sitting in one on the porch with your coffee, or giving to your adult children for Christmas, or just rocking away in front of the TV.
