Weches: History Hike: Forest Folklore!

Hike beneath the pines while hearing stories behind the mysterious CCC Bathtubs. Journey with a park ranger on a hike into the woods to the CCC Bathtubs learning about folklore of the Civilian Conservation Corps. We will meet in the parking lot by the pond in the day use area. This is an easy hike that is 1 mile long and should take about an hour. There is one small hill but most of the hike is flat.
Meet: At the Nature Trail by the fishing pond
Bring: Drinking water, comfortable shoes, bug spray, and dress for the weather
All programs are free, there is a $2.00 park entry fee for all 13 years and older. We are located on Hwy 21 between Alto and Crockett, please call 936-687-2394 with any questions.
