Weches: Hike a Historic Path of Wealth, Opportunity and Adventure!

November 13, 2016 - 10:00am to 11:00am

What is a path? What does El Camino Real de los Tejas mean and who built it? Paths play an important role in our daily life just as they did hundreds of years ago. Join a park ranger inside Mission San Francisco de los Tejas for a discussion of the El Camino Real and its role in Texas for people of the past and present. Then we will take a short easy hike to the El Camino Real within the park to follow in the footsteps of the famous.
Meet: Mission San Francisco de los Tejas
Bring: Drinking water, comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather.
All programs are free, there is a $2.00 park entry fee for all 13 years and older. We are located on Hwy 21 between Alto and Crockett, please call 936-687-2394 with any questions.
