Weches: Folk Festival at Mission Tejas


April 29, 2017 - 10:00am to 3:00pm

Demonstrations of early pioneer life, Civil War exhibits, Buffalo Soldiers, and authentic trapper camps. Presentations of the ways of life during this time which may include: Blacksmithing, quilting, chair making, tool making, spinning, one room school, soap making, weaving, and beading. Music, food and a silent auction will also be a part of the day. Come out and enjoy a day in the pines with the folks who generously donate their time and talent sharing with us their knowledge and love of this period in our history.
