Weches: Fire is Living History!


November 25, 2016 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

A park ranger will cover why fire was important in the past, and why it is important today. Rangers will also demonstrate how to start a fire using a bow-drill and a flint and steel. The program will last about 45 minutes and will be held at a fire ring next to the playground near the pond.

All programs are free, there is a $2.00 park entry fee for all 13 years and older. We are located on Hwy 21 between Alto and Crockett, please call 936-687-2394 with any questions.
