Chocolate! We all love it and enjoy, but the chocolate of 300 years ago was quite different from our modern Hershey's bars. This program will cover the history of chocolate in Spanish exploration and its transitions over time.
Attendees will experience first hand how chocolate, spices, and other ingredients are transformed into historic Spanish hot chocolate circa 1700, much different than hot chocolate today. Samples provided depending on attendance.
There is no cost to attend and all ages are welcome!
